Ukrainian actor Nazar Zadniprovskyi spoke about the repertoire policy of the former director of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre, Bohdan Stupka. According to Zadniprovskyi, Stupka distributed roles among actors based on his preferences.

'You bring a play, my father even told me, he reads it, my father with hope for himself, Sylvesterovych read it, he said: 'I don't see myself in this production, this is not a very good production,' - noted Zadniprovskyi.

Zadniprovskyi also recounted an incident with the production of 'The Government Inspector', where he felt offended. He explained that he and a colleague wanted to get the lead role, but it went to Ostap Stupka. Zadniprovskyi and his colleague were forced to play secondary characters.
