Support for an unconditional ceasefire
According to a survey by the sociological group 'Rating', 74% of Ukrainians expressed support for the idea of a 30-day ceasefire without any conditions. Additionally, more than half of the respondents believe that the President of Ukraine can participate in the negotiations even if the Russian leader is not involved.
The survey also showed that only 25% of Ukrainians believe that the talks in Turkey will contribute to achieving peace. Trust in President Volodymyr Zelensky increased from 69% to 74%, and support for his participation in the negotiations was 47% of respondents.
After President Zelensky's visit to Turkey and prolonged negotiations, many contentious issues regarding the future prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Russia have arisen.
