UFC Fighter Inspired by Trump Decides to Run for President of Ireland.

UFC athlete Conor McGregor announced his intention to run for president of Ireland, which has sparked great interest on social media. He plans to be the head of opposition regarding the European Migration Pact, which simplifies border security and immigration in the country. McGregor expresses the opinion that under his leadership, this pact will not be implemented, and citizens have the right to their voice and choice of future. Although he has never been involved in politics, he received support from President Trump, with whom he met at the White House. However, some experts doubt the seriousness of his statement, but commentators are calling it 'the coolest knockout in politics.'
Ireland must fully implement the EU Migration Pact by June 12, 2026.So between now and 12 June 2026, several pieces of legislation have to be passed by both Houses of the Oireachtas & then signed by the President. The next presidential election must take place by 11 Nov 2025…

“Ireland, the power is with you, and it's easy. Vote for me as your president, and together we will save Ireland“, – McGregor wrote earlier. The President of Ireland performs ceremonial functions but has significant influence on society. McGregor actively comments on politics, particularly regarding immigration and security. It should be noted that McGregor has not been involved in mixed martial arts since July 2021 due to a leg injury.
