Bulgaria is providing the seventh package of defense assistance to Ukraine
The Bulgarian Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov announced that Bulgaria is providing Ukraine with the seventh package of defense assistance. The specific list of weapons, equipment, and ammunition remains confidential. The new aid package includes the supply of weapons, equipment, and ammunition.
According to a Cabinet of Ministers decision, the list of weapons, equipment, and ammunition remains confidential. However, assistance will be provided based on a secret agreement made back in 2022. The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense assures that this assistance will not harm the country's military capabilities.
This is already the seventh package of military assistance provided to Ukraine this year. Since the beginning of the conflict with Russia, Ukraine has provided Bulgaria with a list of the required weapons. Bulgarian Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov assured the Ukrainian ambassador Oles Ilashtuk that Bulgaria will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.
