Electricity outages implemented in Odesa region due to Russian attacks.


Russian forces' attacks on energy facilities in the Odesa region have led to electricity supply restrictions. The regional energy company, the distribution system operator, is forced to disconnect some consumers and carry out repair works to restore electricity supply.
Despite this, electricity consumption in Ukraine as a whole is decreasing, especially in regions with warm weather. As of February 25, the level of electricity consumption was 4.1% lower compared to the previous day.
On February 20, Russian occupiers attacked the Odesa region using drones. The attacks resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, and part of the city was left without heating due to damage to the heat main. Also, there were earlier attacks on the port infrastructure of the Odesa district.
