The US State Department reacted to the information about captured Chinese soldiers in Ukraine.

The US State Department has officially confirmed that Ukrainian forces captured two Chinese citizens who fought on the side of Russia in Ukraine. This was reported by State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce during a press briefing on Tuesday.
'We are aware of reports that Ukraine has captured two Chinese citizens fighting on the side of Russia in Ukraine. China is a major enabler for Russia in the war against Ukraine. China supplies nearly 80% of the dual-use goods that Russia needs to continue the war,' Bruce emphasized.
President Volodymyr Zelensky made a public video address showcasing the captured Chinese servicemen who took part in combat on the Russian side.
'This once again underscores President Trump's persistent call for peace. It is Time to stop the death and destruction and end this war,' Bruce stated.
Spokesperson Tammy Bruce also highlighted that Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated during a NATO press conference that the US is willing to find out how serious Russia is about peace negotiations.
'These are active people with a limited timeframe to achieve this. Every day, every week that passes impacts the quality of life for people, and some people who are alive today may not be alive tomorrow,' the State Department representative emphasized.
Bruce also reminded that President Trump is committed to seeking and recovering missing or abducted Ukrainian children from Russia, and this issue remains a priority for the administration.
