Former traitor MP Oleg Tsarev spoke about the significant influence of former politician and lawyer Andrei Portnov on the judicial system of Ukraine. According to Tsarev, fees for 'solving issues' reached up to $10 million, writes 'Gromadske'.

'Andrei appointed all judges... The qualification commission was under him and a significant number of judges in Ukraine were appointed by him. This means that he could call, ask, suggest,' Tsarev stated.

Moreover, Tsarev said that Portnov's legal company was involved in almost all corporate wars in Ukraine, working on one or the other side. 'In raider, anti-raider seizures. The clients were oligarchs or politicians - the top figures in the country,' he explained.

Attempts to influence the conclusion of imprisonment

With the coming to power of Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Tsarev, Portnov, through then head of the President's Office Andrei Bogdan, tried to 'sort out' the issues of one influential business group. According to him, there were many orders: this concerned the preservation of assets, closure of criminal cases, and also the exclusion of individuals from sanction lists.

'Andrei solved almost all issues. Fees reached $10 million per issue,' Tsarev emphasized.

However, he added that not all issues were resolved, and such large-scale activity inevitably created discontent among people, especially considering the size of the fees.

It should be noted that former deputy head of the administration of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, advisor to the fugitive president Andrei Portnov was shot dead in the suburbs of Madrid.

It is reported that an unknown assailant shot Andrei Portnov on Wednesday morning, May 21, near the gates of a school in Pozuelo. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials confirmed death from injuries incompatible with life, sustained from multiple gunshot wounds. In particular, four shots to the chest area and one to the head.
