Painting created by human-like robot sold for $1 million (photo).

At an auction in New York, a portrait of Alan Turing was sold, which became the first work of art by the humanoid robot Ai-Da. This artwork was sold for $1,084,800 (44,496 million UAH). The robot artist Ai-Da, who created this portrait, was named after Ada Lovelace, the first programmer in history. The portrait is titled AI God and measures 2.2 meters. It was created using a mixed technique on canvas. The artwork was exhibited at the UN Global AI Summit. It was expected that the painting would be sold for a sum between $120,000 and $180,000. Ai-Da creates her works based on what she sees, as she has no imagination. Developers asked her to create a portrait of Turing, and they provided her with information about the colors, style, tone, and texture to use before showing her a photo of Turing. After that, she started painting. Alan Turing's work inspires viewers to reflect on the god-like nature of artificial intelligence and its ethical and societal consequences. Ai-Da was created by the artist Aidan Meller, who used muted tones and fragmented facial planes to hint at the struggles we will face in the future when it comes to managing artificial intelligence.
It is worth mentioning that LimX Dynamics from China introduced the world's first modular bipedal robot. The limbs of this robot can be changed for various modes of movement, from mimicking human gait to moving on wheels.
