The commander of the Bradley crew, who became a Hero of Ukraine, explained the value of this military vehicle.

The Ukrainian commander of the Bradley M2 combat vehicle, Oleksandr Krokovets, explained that the main difference between the American Bradley and the Soviet BMP lies in the protection of the personnel. According to him, Soviet equipment was very dangerous because it was not designed to protect the crew.
Krokovets shared his experience with the use of Bradley and Soviet equipment. He emphasized that with Bradley, soldiers were saved multiple times after battles, both due to enemy shelling and direct hits. He also noted that during an assault, the Bradley helps reach enemy positions, forcing enemy artillery to cease fire.
Krokovets noted that with the appearance of Bradley, infantrymen began to feel safer. He also expressed concern for new infantrymen who might misunderstand and jump out of the vehicle while it is moving.
Another military member who participated in the battle also confirmed the effectiveness of the Bradley in engagements with Russian equipment. He recounted an incident where Russian soldiers had to scatter after hearing the sound of the Bradley. According to him, no Soviet equipment could match the effectiveness of this armored vehicle.
