Summer vacations in Ukraine postponed: when students will go on holiday.

New dates for summer vacations in Ukraine
According to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 841, the government has established new dates for the end of the school year for students and parents in Ukraine.
Changes include that the school year will officially end on June 30, 2025. Although the last bell will ring at the end of May, students will continue to study throughout June, engaging in educational activities, career orientation, and attending school camps and clubs.
The Ministry of Education and Science explains that even after the last bell, teachers will need to finish covering topics that could not be fully addressed during the regular school period.
Summer vacations will start only from July 1 and last until the end of August, unless the school administration decides otherwise.
In 2025, graduation events are planned as follows for 11th graders and 9th graders. Schools have the right to adjust the schedule of studies and vacations according to local conditions, such as shelling, availability of shelters, and regional requirements.
Thus, summer vacations in 2025 will start a month later than usual, and the school year will continue until the end of June.
An important feature this year may be the appearance of veterans in Ukrainian schools.
