Attack of Russians on Chernihiv and Kyiv

On the night of June 6, 2025, Russians launched an attack on Chernihiv. As a result of the attack, the electrical networks of the pumping stations of the water supply were damaged. The enemies struck important facilities in the city. According to the Chernihivvodokanal utility, due to this, there is no water in the upper apartments of high-rise buildings, so residents are advised to stock up on drinking water. People from the upper floors are recommended to collect water from taps on the first floors.

Russia attacked Ukraine. The enemy forces used missiles and drones. In the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, a high-rise building burned down, and in the Shevchenkivskyi district, residential buildings caught fire. Fragments of enemy drones were found in the Darnytskyi and Desnyanskyi districts. Infrastructure facilities, the metro, and a gas station were also damaged. During the liquidation of the consequences, three rescuers of the State Emergency Service were killed.

As a result of the Russian attack on Chernihiv and Kyiv, important infrastructure facilities were severely damaged, significantly complicating the daily life of the residents of the cities. The threat and danger of war in eastern Ukraine is becoming more and more real, requiring immediate and effective actions to protect the civilian population from enemy attacks.

This led to water supply disruptions and significant complications in the lives of the residents of these cities.
