The Ministry of Economy named the number of Ukrainians reserved from mobilization.

Ukraine has reserved 906,000 citizens until the end of October 2024. Information about 1.5 million reserved is unreliable. This was reported by the Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko in an interview with Forbes.
Svyrydenko refuted the information about 1.5 million reserved Ukrainians.
At the peak, we had 950,000 "unique reserved". When booking through "Diia" appeared, at a certain point, the statistics increased to 1.049 million people, but this was due to duplication, as some companies submitted documents both in paper and electronic form simultaneously
According to her, it is necessary to make the process transparent and systematize it so that only those who truly have the right receive the reservation. The government is considering changing the booking procedures, in particular, applying a priority criterion based on salary.
The minister mentioned that there are companies that, when submitting documents to be recognized as critically important enterprises, indicated the average salary for the region, and then switched to the minimum. She considers such actions manipulations.
In Ukraine, a re-examination of enterprises, institutions, and organizations regarding their compliance with the criteria for reserving employees from mobilization will be conducted. The Cabinet of Ministers amended the criteria and procedure for determining enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the vital activities of the population, as well as critically important for the needs of the Armed Forces.
The possibility of reserving employees from mobilization in "Diia" is suspended until November 15.
The European Business Association (EBA) appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to automatically extend all current deferments from mobilization by two months.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed remarks regarding the economic reservation model that exists now. The President believes that the reservation should be fair.
