The minimum wage in Ukraine may increase in 3 stages in 2025: details of the bill.

Most Ukrainians pay attention to the size of wages when searching for a job. The minimum wage, which regularly changes depending on government policy, also plays an important role.
According to the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025, starting from January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will be 8,000 UAH.
The minimum wage is the guaranteed minimum payment for work established by the state, which applies to the monthly or hourly volume of work performed. It is mandatory for all employees and requires working 40 hours a week to receive it.
However, the Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill that provides for a significant increase in the minimum wage, pensions, and the living wage in 2025.
The bill envisages the following increase in the minimum wage:
- from April 1 - to 9,100 UAH (55 UAH per hour);
- from July 1 - to 10,100 UAH (61 UAH per hour);
- from October 1 - to 11,184 UAH (68 UAH per hour).
This increase aims to improve the well-being of citizens and adapt to the economic realities in the country.
The final decision on the increase in the minimum wage depends on the Verkhovna Rada.
It was previously reported how many Ukrainians receive a salary of less than 10,000 hryvnias.
