There will be restrictions on the crossing at another checkpoint on the border with Poland.

At the checkpoint 'Korczowa - Krakiwiec' on the Ukrainian-Polish border, there will be temporary restrictions due to road works. According to the message from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, repair works will take place from May 8 to mid-June at this checkpoint. This includes the replacement of the asphalt surface on the road used by freight vehicles entering Poland and passenger vehicles coming from Poland. Due to the partial closure of sections where repairs are taking place, there may be temporary restrictions in capacity.
There is also reconstruction ongoing at the 'Shehyni' checkpoint on the Ukrainian side. In this regard, citizens are recommended to plan their routes and use less busy checkpoints, such as 'Smilnytsia', 'Nyzhankovychi', 'Rava-Ruska', 'Hrushiv' and 'Ugryniv'.
Ukrainians have also been informed about partial traffic restrictions at the international automobile checkpoint 'Ustyliuh-Zosin' on the border with Poland. From April 30 to approximately June 5, there will be restrictions on the passage of vehicles from the Ukrainian side. Moreover, construction works at the 'Shehyni' checkpoint began on April 22, 2025. Ukrainians are advised to plan their route in advance and use less busy checkpoints such as Rava-Ruska, Hrushiv, Ugryniv, Smilnytsia and Nyzhankovychi. The repair works are expected to last until approximately May 10.
As a result of the road work at the 'Korczowa - Krakiwiec' and 'Shehyni' checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border, there will be temporary changes in traffic. This may lead to a decrease in capacity and delays at the border. Citizens are advised to plan their routes in advance and use less busy checkpoints. The repair works are necessary to improve road conditions and ensure safe border crossing.
