Former people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and military officer Nadia Savchenko dispelled rumors that she is again held captive in Russia. She stated this in a video recording on her Facebook page, as reported by 'Glavkom'.

«As fake news about my captivity has started to spread again, we must quickly refute these rumors. We do this as quickly as possible at the front line», - Savchenko mentioned in the video.

Nadia Savchenko emphasized that the information about her captivity is a Russian fake: «How much longer can we teach not to trust Russian fakes and not to spread lies around the world. I was not killed. I am not in captivity. I am free and alive. And I continue to fight for the freedom of Ukraine and Ukrainians».

Savchenko's reaction to the spread of disinformation

Earlier, in a public statement, Nadia Savchenko published a video report where she reacted to the information from Russian propagandists about her death at the front in combat. The former deputy appeared against the backdrop of blooming Ukrainian viburnum and stated that she is doing well.

People's deputy Marianna Bezuha expressed her support for Savchenko, urging the Security Service of Ukraine to conduct a detailed investigation into Nadia's activities in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
