People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Mazur celebrates an anniversary.


Ukrainian actor of theater, cinema, and dubbing Vasyl Mazur was congratulated on his birthday. He turned 70 years old. The news appeared on the Hlavkom website.

Biography of Vasyl Mazur
Vasyl Mazur was born on April 11, 1955, in the village of Skhidnytsia, Boryslav district, Lviv region.
The desire to become an actor emerged in Mazur in the seventh grade. He saw the filming of the movie 'Zakar Berkut' and became interested in live actors. He decided to become an actor because it was easier for him. Vasyl participated in artistic projects and organized Christmas carols.
In 1976, Vasyl graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary with a degree in acting and pedagogy from Dmytro Vasylovych Franko. After completing his studies, he worked in Mohyliv and the Kyiv Academic Theater for Young People. In 1977, he served in internal troops and toured the prisons of Ukraine and Moldova with an ensemble. Since 1980, Vasyl Mazur has been working at the National Theater named after Ivan Franko.
In 2010, the actor received the title of People's Artist of Ukraine, and in 2015, he became a recipient of the Order of Merit of the III degree. Throughout his career, he voiced 82 roles, starred in 23 films, and performed 34 theatrical roles.
