Entrepreneurs defrauded an educational institution for over half a million UAH: entrepreneurs will be tried in Vinnytsia.

Entrepreneurs in Vinnytsia entered into a contract for work, but did not fulfill their obligations

In Vinnytsia, two entrepreneurs, acting by prior agreement, signed a contract for the installation of a polyethylene fire reservoir for one of the educational institutions. The fraudsters received 590 thousand UAH, but did not fulfill their obligations. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Vinnytsia region.

The indictment for the signs of a criminal offense provided for in Part 4 of Article 190 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was sent to court by the investigative department of police No. 3 of the Vinnytsia District Police Department.

The sanctions of the article provide for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. It is worth noting that the Vinnytsia City Court found a minor resident of Odesa guilty of arson at the entrance to the building of the territorial recruitment and social support center. According to the case materials, an arson incident occurred in Vinnytsia on July 6, 2024, around 4:00 AM. The fire on the stairs of the main entrance was managed to be localized by the forces of the duty unit.

Earlier, the Security Service and the National Police eliminated a scheme of extorting money from the families of Ukrainian defenders in the Vinnytsia region.
