Krakow asks the government to allow charging a tourist fee
The city of Krakow officially appealed to the government of Poland with a request to allow the introduction of a tourist fee. Currently, such a tax is prohibited by law. The City Council of Krakow unanimously supported a resolution urging the government to allow municipalities to introduce this tax. The fee should not exceed 3.22 zlotys per night. Their goal is to improve comfort for residents and guests of the city.
