The First Lady of France Brigitte Macron will play a role in the fourth season of the famous Netflix series «Emily in Paris». According to The Guardian, Mrs. Macron will appear in new episodes and pleasantly surprise viewers.
At the age of 71, Macron will play herself in one of the episodes, presenting her own clothes, without any special requests from the series. Screenwriter Darren Star believes that she has acting talent and will amaze fans. Lily Collins, who plays the lead role in the series, also expressed her joy from collaborating with Macron. She considers filming with the First Lady of France an honor and a joy.
«Emily in Paris» is a series about an American woman who moves to Paris to work at a marketing company. The main character will face difficulties related to the language barrier and cultural differences.
This is not the first Time Macron has participated in a film. She already appeared in the series «Vestiges» in 2018. Additionally, the Gaumont company announced the creation of a new series «Brigitte, a free woman», dedicated to the wife of the French president.
At the moment, details about the format of the series remain unknown, but the writing of the script and the filming of 6 episodes of 45 minutes each are already planned.
