PFU named 3 reasons why Ukrainians may be left without pension payments.

Reasons for the suspension of pension payments
The Pension Fund administration in the Zaporizhzhia region clarified the main reasons for the possible suspension of pension payments. According to the fund's data, there are three main reasons that may cause a temporary suspension of payments.
The first is the untimely completion of the mandatory physical identification procedure to confirm identity. Another reason is the lack of movement of funds in the pension account for six months. The third reason is receiving parallel payments from the state occupying the territory, in particular the Russian Federation.
'Such cases of payment suspension are not widespread, but possible if a citizen has made one of the common mistakes,' the Pension Fund noted.
To restore pension payments, it is necessary to submit an application to the PFU with an up-to-date bank account and successfully pass physical identification. This can be done either in person or through the fund's web portal using an electronic signature. Physical identification is conducted via video conference.
Special requirements are provided for pensioners who are abroad. They must send a written application by mail, attaching a document that confirms their presence alive. Some cases may require additional documents according to the resolution of the government of Ukraine.
It is necessary to remember that if physical identification is conducted within a year from the moment of suspension of payments, the pension will be restored, and the funds for this period will remain the property of the recipient.
If pension payments have been suspended due to suspicion of receiving payments from the occupying country, submitting an application to the Pension Fund will be advisable in any form with confirmation of the absence of such payments.
