PFU explained the conditions for granting fuel subsidies to new pensioners.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained how the subsidy for the purchase of solid fuel and liquefied gas is granted to pensioners. If a person retired in October 2023 and had no income, they can still receive the subsidy.
Under normal conditions, the subsidy is not provided if a person has no income or their amount is less than the minimum wage. However, there is an exception to this rule for pensioners.
PFU explains: "If a pensioner applied for a subsidy for the purchase of liquefied gas and solid fuel in July 2024, but had no income in Q1-Q3 2023, and their pension was granted from October 2023 - a housing subsidy may be granted to them".
