A suspect has been arrested in London for conspiracy to commit arson
In London, a fourth suspect has been detained in a series of arsons linked to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The 48-year-old man was arrested at Stansted Airport on June 2. He was stopped by police and then arrested for conspiracy to commit arson, posing a risk to life. He is currently in custody.
Previously, the police had already detained three suspects in this case, who are Ukrainians: 21-year-old Roman Lavrynovych, 26-year-old Stanislav Karpiuk, and 34-year-old Petr Pochynok.
Roman Lavrynovych, according to British media, is accused of three counts of arson that occurred between May 8 and May 12 in London.
Among other episodes in this case are the arson of a car on one of the streets connected to the Prime Minister's residence, and a fire near the entrance to another house also linked to the politician. All incidents are being treated as suspicious, and the investigation is ongoing.
A fourth suspect has been detained in London over a series of arsons related to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
