A soldier fell during a combat mission in Luhansk. Let's remember Vasyl Porovsky.

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians pay tribute to the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Vasyl Porovsky.

On October 13, 2023, soldier Vasyl Porovsky was killed during a combat mission in the Luhansk direction. This was reported by reference to the Rivne City Council.

Vasyl Vasylovych Porovsky was born on January 13, 1987, in Rivne. He studied at local school No. 12 and at vocational technical school No. 10. He received his education as a technician-electrician at the Rivne Technical Vocational College of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management. He worked at the company 'Rivneteploenergo.'

In May 2023, Vasyl was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He completed training at the Rivne training ground and in Kharkiv region. He served in Luhansk region.

"Vasyl was very passionate about basketball. He had a diploma from a children's and youth sports school in basketball and a 1st rank in this sport. He was a player in the amateur basketball league. He also adored dogs," says the hero's cousin, Zinfira.

Unfortunately, DNA testing confirmed that 36-year-old soldier Vasyl Porovsky was killed on October 13, 2023, during a combat mission in the Luhansk direction.

The hero was buried on April 7 in Independence Square in Rivne, at the 'Nove' cemetery.

The warrior is survived by his mother and brother.
