The deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maxim Zhorin, noted that Ukraine's main goal in the war is to destroy as many enemies as possible, but not at the expense of our soldiers' lives, but through the development of technology and high-quality weapons. According to Zhorin, the state needs to change its approach to conducting the war, focusing on the development of military technologies and growing its own defense-industrial complex. He noted that this concerns drones, missiles, ammunition, and robotic systems.

The military emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers are already demonstrating heroism by holding off attacks, even though they are outnumbered compared to the enemy, but the country must provide them with more opportunities to strike even before the occupiers approach their positions.

"We must not allow the enemy to approach the soldier in the trench. The enemy's infantry must be defeated at the approaches - with the help of technology and sufficient firepower," Zhorin stressed.

He expressed the opinion that people are the most valuable resource for Ukraine, and the task of the state is to do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainians die as little as possible, and the enemy as much as possible.

Information about the fact that the occupying Russian troops plan to occupy the Donetsk region was shared by Armed Forces of Ukraine serviceman Kyrylo Sazonov. In particular, the Liman direction may be the most dangerous. The Russians are preparing to replenish their forces and are accumulating reserves. This was reported by the publication 'Hlavkom' citing Sazonov's interview for 'Novosti.Live'.

"The 'hot' zone may become the place where it has been a bit quieter. And this is the Liman direction. From a geographical point of view, this is a very convenient scenario for the Russian Federation, as it will allow them to reshape the logistics of the entire Donetsk grouping. Taking Konstantynivka, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and going north will take 10 years. But reshaping the logistics of Kharkiv will give them a significant advantage," Sazonov explained.

It should be noted that Moscow aims to occupy the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. However, Russian troops do not have enough forces for a massive offensive on several fronts, as was the case in 2014.
