Deputy head of the Arkhangelsk regional administration died during a hockey game
66-year-old Vladimir Ananyev, deputy head of the Arkhangelsk regional administration, died during a hockey game. This was reported by Glavkom.
On March 29, Ananyev participated in a friendly game at the local Sports Palace. In the 19th minute of the match, he suddenly fell on the ice. The game was broadcast live by the Hockey Federation of the Arkhangelsk region.
According to eyewitnesses, there were no collisions during the game that could have provoked a deterioration in Ananyev's health; the match was quite calm.
The refereeing team quickly called for medical assistance, but they were unable to save the official. The cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
In 2022, Ananyev held briefings on the topic of mobilization to the occupying army. He also spoke at ceremonial events for the mobilized, claiming that they would be addressing complex tasks for the defense of Russia.
Alexander Rabotnitsky, a former occupier and Paralympic medalist, was diagnosed with 'organic brain damage'. The deceased served as a platoon commander in the reconnaissance company. Friends of the athlete report that after the end of his career, he developed a gaming addiction.
