US Intelligence Agencies Reveal Details of the Hunt for Osama bin Laden.

Employees and analysts of the National Security Agency (NSA) in the US tracked phone calls and listened to conversations of Osama bin Laden's assistant for two years. This helped to locate the whereabouts of the "Al-Qaeda" operative, which is banned in the US and the EU. It was the former NSA director, John Darby, who revealed this in an interview with The Washington Post.
According to him, signal intelligence (SIGINT) methods were used to determine the location of bin Laden's assistant. They intercepted and analyzed radio signals, phone conversations, and internet traffic between individuals sought by American intelligence services.
Shortly after the killing of the leader of the international terrorist network in 2011, it became known that American intelligence had information about bin Laden's assistant, thanks to whom they were able to capture "Terrorist No. 1." Bin Laden communicated with the outside world through his assistant, observing strict secrecy and avoiding electronic communication.
