Furthermore, Germany promised to supply additional Iris-T systems and 1,100 ground surveillance radars.

It is also worth noting that this gathering of the Contact Group on Ukraine is taking place for the first Time under joint German-British leadership.

German media reported on an internal Bundeswehr document that questions the effectiveness of German military equipment in Ukraine. According to this document, the Ukrainian army is experiencing issues with German weapons, particularly tanks, air defense systems, and the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer.

The German Defense Minister stated that he is surprised by these reports, as he has no information about such problems. Despite this, Germany continues to be one of the largest providers of military aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

In addition to Germany, Britain and Norway will also provide a significant military aid package to Ukraine amounting to 580 million dollars.
