In the baskets, in addition to Easter cakes and eggs, there were also meat, lard, horseradish, and salt. After the blessing of the Easter cakes, all families gather at the festive table to ensure well-being throughout the year. The Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphany, congratulated Ukrainians on Easter in a video address.
