The Kremlin plans to resettle 5 million Russians in the occupied territories by 2030.

According to the Center for the Study of Occupation, plans are in place to resettle at least 5 million Russians in the occupied territories of Ukraine by 2030. Participants of the forum 'Integration-2025' in Rostov-on-Don are discussing plans regarding this issue.
'The forum 'Integration-2025' is taking place in Rostov-on-Don, where officials from the Russian Federation and the occupation administrations lie about how 'good it is to live in the Soviet country'. However, interesting figures and plans are being mentioned there,' reported Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation.
According to Andriushchenko, Russians hope to increase the population in the occupied territories (excluding Crimea) to 10 million people by 2030.
'Currently, the number does not exceed 5 million. How can they bring another 5 million? Of course, they will bring them from Russia. And, of course, there are other promises and statements. They have announced the 'new sea route' Mariupol-Berdyansk-Yeysk' again,' Andriushchenko added.
Andriushchenko reminded that such an announcement was made back in August 2022, but in September only one ferry arrived.
'The problem is that all ferries are located in Kerch, so there are no free ones,' he noted.
The head of the Center for the Study of Occupation also noted that the gauleiter of Mariupol continues to provide data on the return of local residents. According to him, 329 thousand local residents have returned to Mariupol, which almost corresponds to the number of the adult population of the city in 2014.
'We must also consider those who stayed in Mariupol, who were evacuated, and those who died. That is, the demographic situation among the occupiers is not what they announce,' Andriushchenko emphasized.
He also noted that around 600 apartments have been recognized as ownerless, and there are plans to increase this number by 5.5 times. However, Andriushchenko pointed out that Russians and pro-Russian forces do not connect this to the number of returning local residents.
'This is a very complicated manipulation for them,' Andriushchenko claims.
