Changes in the fines system for drivers

The Verkhovna Rada may change the fines system for drivers, specifically abolishing the norm regarding the allowed speed limit exceeding by less than 20 km/h. The relevant draft law has already been registered. Recently in Khmelnytskyi region, a court fined a displaced person 17,000 UAH for violating traffic rules.

In Lviv, the popular Kopernika Street leads in the number of fines for violating parking rules. Inspectors point out the problem of parking in the zone of the 'No stopping' sign and monitor other streets in the city.

A report from the Department of Safety and Street Infrastructure of Lviv showed that drivers most often violate parking rules on Kopernika Street, where the most fines have been issued in the last three years. The most common violation is parking in the zone of the 'No stopping' sign. The government may change the fines system for drivers, which will lead to changes in traffic rules in the future.
