The Defense Forces assessed the threat of a Russian landing on the south.


According to the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the south, Vladyslav Voloshyn, there are no Russian troops in southern Ukraine for a large-scale landing operation, but this possibility cannot be completely ruled out.
Currently, Ukrainian intelligence does not find the necessary number of forces and means to conduct a landing operation, but this does not mean that such an operation is impossible in the future. Voloshyn emphasizes that the enemy is preparing groups for assault and local combat actions, but does not currently plan a large landing.
According to him, Russian troops may capture individual islands or checkpoints on the right bank to control the Dnipro and Dnipro estuaries. However, for conducting a landing operation and crossing the Dnipro, the enemy currently does not have enough forces and means.
