Ukrposhta announced cooperation with Amazon: when delivery from the USA will start.

Ukrainians will be able to use global marketplaces like Amazon as early as 2025. This opportunity will be available thanks to the plans of JSC "Ukrposhta" to conclude a strategic agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS). This was announced by the general director of "Ukrposhta" Ihor Smilyanskyi.
According to him, "Ukrposhta" is actively working on finalizing agreements with USPS. It is expected that by January 1, an agreement on the delivery of small parcels will be concluded, and later – for larger shipments.
As soon as we manage to conclude the agreement, Amazon will open for Ukraine
According to the general director of "Ukrposhta", this will also open doors for other major international marketplaces that were previously inaccessible to Ukrainian consumers.
An important part of the new strategy is the optimization of logistical routes. Delays in delivery through Poland forced "Ukrposhta" to reroute parcels through the United Kingdom. This route is planned to be used for delivering goods from Amazon after concluding the agreement with USPS.
According to Smilyanskyi's forecasts, such an approach will significantly speed up the process: parcels will first be delivered to London, and the next day – to Ukraine. In addition, "Ukrposhta" is negotiating with the British Royal Mail to reduce tariffs and improve conditions for cooperation for Ukraine.
It is worth noting that from the beginning of 2024, "Ukrposhta" started transitioning to automatic parcel sorting.
