Ukrainian Railways will raise ticket prices to Europe: routes and tariffs from February 1.

Ukrainian Railways changes tariffs for international destinations
Ukrainian Railways is changing its pricing policy for international routes, specifically reducing discounts for trips to Poland and Hungary. This was reported by the company's press service. However, ticket prices to Austria and Moldova will remain unchanged.
The reason for the changes is the significant rise in costs of materials and energy resources. This has led to losses in passenger transportation amounting to 18 billion hryvnias. Ukrainian Railways reviewed the discount system that was introduced to attract passengers on international routes and decided to modify it.
One of the affected routes is Kyiv - Warsaw, where the travel cost will increase by 37%. Passengers traveling to Budapest will have to pay 17-21% more for tickets in couchette and compartment cars. On the route to Poland, first-class Intercity+ and couchette prices will rise by 20-27%, and for compartment cars by 9-27%.
Ukrainian Railways will allow passengers to purchase tickets at old prices until January 31 inclusive through the official website or mobile application for all February flights on the specified routes.
In addition, Ukrainian Railways will offer passengers hot meals during trips.
