Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha proposes that Ukrainian military personnel with real combat experience could join NATO forces after the war ends. He expressed this idea at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

This will be concrete, practical support for security in the region, which is economically beneficial for the Alliance.

According to the minister, Ukraine is ready to send 110 combat brigades, which are currently part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to serve in the Alliance. Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine plans to become a full member of NATO in the future, and Ukraine's presence will make the Alliance stronger. He pointed out that currently no army in the world, except for the Russian one, has the combat experience that the Armed Forces of Ukraine possess.

The minister also emphasized the need to reform the global security system, which has become ineffective after the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

'Events after February 24, 2022, demonstrate that the current international system is not fulfilling its functions. It is unjust. We need more effective means of influence. We need to modernize the UN and humanitarian law, in particular the Geneva Conventions. Ukraine has practical experience and is ready to join this process,' Sybiha said.

According to the minister, neither the UN nor other international organizations currently have effective influence over the aggressor, so the global security system must be strengthened by forceful measures, and the aggressor can only be slowed down by real power.

It should also be noted that Sybiha revealed details of new military training.
