In Ukraine, the demand for diesel cars has fallen: what drivers chose.

Ukrainians are increasingly refusing cars with diesel engines. In January of this year, the country's vehicle fleet was replenished with only 4,305 such cars, which is 27% less than last year, reports Ukrautoprom.
The most popular new diesel models were RENAULT Duster, TOYOTA Land Cruiser Prado, TOYOTA Hilux, PEUGEOT Landtrek, and SKODA Kodiaq. Among used cars, the most in demand are RENAULT Megane, SKODA Octavia, NISSAN Qashqai, VOLKSWAGEN Passat, and VOLKSWAGEN Golf.
This trend is related to changing consumer preferences in the Ukrainian automotive market. Earlier, diesel engine cars were popular due to their fuel efficiency and good power. However, many owners now prefer gasoline cars or vehicles with alternative fuel types due to environmental issues associated with diesels.
