“The Gestapo Officer”: how the network reacted to Emma Antoniuk's interview with Russian prisoners of war.

Journalist Emma Antoniuk visited a camp for detained Russian occupants and conducted interviews with them. The recording of these conversations, published on YouTube, provoked various reactions among viewers. One of the translators, Tetiana Nepypenko, strongly condemned the author's approach and called her a 'Gestapo officer.'
Tetiana believes that this type of interview makes sense only at the initial stage of the invasion, when society is still not ready to understand events. Today, the priority for Ukrainians is to work on collective trauma rather than intensify feelings of hatred. Such actions only accelerate the nationalist complex of the Great Ukrainian Race; fortunately, this has not happened with any nation. Hundreds of users expressed support for Emma Antoniuk and thanked her for her work.
Emma Antoniuk stated that she came to the occupants' camp to study them and the 'banality of evil' they inflict on Ukraine. She also noted that well-known Ukrainian psychologists, cultural scientists, and literary scholars worked on the video preparation.
We remind you that Emma Antoniuk previously caused a scandal with her interview with Khrystyna Soloviy and called her a hypocrite. The artist had previously suggested that during the conversation she might have been intoxicated.
