The serviceman set a record that has remained unbeatable for a quarter of a century.


Serviceman Denys Bilyi set a record for overcoming an obstacle course among soldiers.
Denys Bilyi, who is currently a colonel and deputy head of the military academy's department in Odesa, is passing on his skills and experience to cadets.
He also goes to the front, where he teaches officers.
The colonel continues training, as he believes that endurance is one of the key skills in war.
The obstacle course includes navigating a maze, jumping over a two-meter-high wall, crossing a destroyed bridge, ladders, and trenches with wells.
A Time of two minutes is considered a good result.
Such training helps soldiers prepare for the typical terrain of combat and overcome their fears.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers set requirements for the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding English language proficiency.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced plans to increase the training period for servicemen before combat to two months, as well as to adapt newcomers in brigades within 14 days and update the standards of military training.
