The best players of the Ukrainian volleyball championship have been determined.


After the completion of the Ukrainian women's volleyball championship, the best players of the tournament received personal awards for their performances in their positions. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing volleyball.ua.
Individual awards were given to:
- Best receiver – Iryna Nohina (SC 'Balta')
- Best libero – Khrystyna Nemtseva ('Bukovynka')
- Best blocker – Ksenia Ratiy (SC 'Balta')
- Best diagonal – Maryna Fedchuk ('Bukovynka')
- Best setter – Alla Politanska (SC 'Balta')
- Most valuable player (MVP) – Polina Dziuba ('Bukovynka')
It is noteworthy that captain of Vinnytsia 'Dobrodiy' Valeriya Yakusheva, who has been the highest-scoring player in the Ukrainian Super League for the last three consecutive seasons and was recognized as the best volleyball player in Ukraine for 2024, is not on the list.
We remind you that Chernivtsi 'Bukovynka' became the winner of the Ukrainian championship. 'Balta' won silver medals, while Vinnytsia 'Dobrodiy-Meduniversity-SHVSM' won bronze medals.
Retirement announcement
As reported, 27-year-old Ukrainian volleyball player Oleg Plotnytsky announced his retirement from the national team of Ukraine.
'I made a difficult but considered decision. My journey as a player in the national team of Ukraine has come to an end. It is Time for me to move on - to another path, but this path will always be connected to the development of volleyball. I remain faithful to this game. And, who knows, we might meet again in the Ukrainian national team - the question is only in what possible capacity. I have always pursued only the best for our national team. And I will continue to do everything within my power to help Ukrainian volleyball develop, strengthen, and inspire. Thank you all for your support. I felt it everywhere - in every city, in every hall, in every part of the globe, wherever we played. You will forever remain my team,' wrote Plotnytsky.
