The Ukrainian biathlon team has secured 10 licenses for the Olympic Games in 2026, which will take place in Italy. This information is provided by the portal 'Hlavkom'.
The quotas for the Games were determined after the sprint in Holmenkollen (Norway), which took place on March 21, and were distributed according to the results of the Nations Cup.
The top three teams in both the men's and women's standings of the Nations Cup received six licenses each, while teams in the top 10 received five licenses each. The Ukrainian team, which placed eighth in both standings, received five licenses for both men and women. This means that four biathletes will be able to start in each individual event.
