In Nakkarin, a Syrian locality in the Aleppo province, another mass grave has been found, which likely belongs to civilians who were killed by the Assad regime. According to TRT Haber, civil defense groups and the Aleppo police discovered this grave. It contained human remains that were buried together.
Earlier, a mass grave was found near Damascus, which contained the bodies of at least one hundred thousand people who were killed by the Syrian government under the leadership of Bashar al-Assad.
Experts believe that there are many undiscovered mass graves in Syria. They are currently engaged in locating them, exhuming bodies, identifying them, and uncovering the fate of the missing persons.
