Ukrainian Forces Down Russian Su-34 in Aerial Combat, - Media.

In the skies over Donetsk, Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian Su-34 aircraft near the city of Kostiantynivka to the west of Chasiv Yar.
This was reported to 'Suspilne' by the head of the Kostiantynivka city military administration, Serhiy Horbunov.
The incident occurred on October 5th during the day, when local residents witnessed the fall of the debris of the downed plane.
"The debris partially fell around the city of Kostiantynivka. Debris also landed in the private sector - several private houses were damaged. There are no casualties or injuries from this event," Horbunov said.
The news about the downed Russian aircraft quickly spread across social networks, where the first photos and videos from the scene emerged. Initially, reports mentioned the destruction of a Su-25 attack aircraft, but the information was later clarified – the downed aircraft turned out to be the more modern and powerful Su-34 fighter-bomber.
Additionally, the head of the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Defense Policy, Andriy Kovalenko, confirmed that the Su-34 was downed by Ukrainian defenders:
Interestingly, Russian Telegram channels have offered their version of the event, stating that the aircraft might have been downed by "friendly fire," indicating a mistake by their own forces. This information, however, has not received official confirmation from the Ukrainian side.
Another version currently being spread: someone from the Russian military, dissatisfied with the conduct of the war in Ukraine, intended to defect with the Su-34 to territory controlled by Kyiv, did not respond to orders, and was shot down for it by his own side.
Earlier it was also reported that the Main Intelligence Directorate destroyed a Russian Su-30SM aircraft worth 50 million dollars.
