The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has announced the possibility of receiving cash assistance in the city of Trostianets in the Sumy region until July 14, 2025. This concerns payments for a three-month period.
The funds are intended for internally displaced persons, prisoners of war, and refugees who have returned home. The criterion is a low income - no more than 5,400 UAH per family member per month.
Who and where will the UNHCR assistance be available
Those who have not received support before and belong to specific categories can participate in the humanitarian assistance program in Trostianets: single-parent families, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities.
The amount of assistance will be 3,600 UAH for each individual for a three-month period.
How to register and what documents are needed
Citizens who meet the requirements can schedule an appointment in Trostianets by calling 063 182 68 38. You must have a passport, a certificate of IDP status, a child’s certificate, and other necessary documents.
Additionally, it was previously reported about a grant project for women, which provides the opportunity to receive financial assistance for business development, as well as support in the frontline areas of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
