However, it is becoming more difficult for South Korea to respond to this situation. Military analyst Yan Matveyev points out that South Korea is awaiting Trump's decision on peace negotiations. The country does not want to get involved in an armed conflict with Russia that may end with a frozen conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The analyst also doesn't understand why the American administration's response to the link between Putin and Kim is insufficient. He asks why the USA is not acting if they see a threat from North Korean troops.

'If you see it, then why aren't you acting? The connection between Putin and Kim is strong and very dangerous. South Korea lacks nuclear weapons and it is unknown whether the USA will be ready to defend it in the event of a conflict,' Matveyev said.
