The Verkhovna Rada approved the law on the features of regulating entrepreneurial activity in the transitional period
The Ukrainian parliament adopted a law that establishes rules for entrepreneurial activity during the transitional period. This law replaces the current Commercial Code.
The changes contained in this law are aimed at improving corporate governance in state and municipal enterprises, increasing attractiveness for investors, introducing effective mechanisms for controlling the use of state and municipal property, as well as resolving conflicts between the Civil Code of Ukraine and special legislation, reports Ukrinform.
According to this law, the Commercial Code of Ukraine, which has only declarative force and contradicts other laws and the general principles of civil legislation, will be repealed.
